John 15:15: "No longer do I call you slaves, for the slave does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you.
A recent study tells that praying is seen in the MRI-scans of the brain as a strikingly similar activity as talking to a friend. OF COURSE talking to God is like talking to a friend! God IS our friend!
Schjødt, of the University of Aarhus, Denmark, and colleagues, asked 20 devout Christians volunteers to carry out two tasks involving both religious and "secular" activities. In the first task, they recited the Lord's Prayer, followed by a nursery rhyme. They claimed that identical brain areas, typically associated with rehearsal and repetition are activated.
In the second, they improvised personal prayers before making requests to Santa Claus. Improvised prayers triggered patterns that match those seen when people communicate with each other, and activated circuitry that is linked with the theory of mind - an awareness that other individuals have their own independent motivations and intentions
The prefrontal cortex was dormant during the Santa Claus task, suggesting volunteers viewed Santa as fictitious but God as a real individual.
Previous studies revealed that the prefrontal cortex is not activated when people interact with non-living objects, such as playing computer games. Schjød commented: "The brain doesn't activate these areas because they don't expect reciprocity, nor find it necessary to think about the computer's intentions. He says the results show people believe they are talking to someone when they pray.
If you have ever had a really good friend who supports you and stands with you even when you have done wrong, or stupid, or angry, or whatever -- and who comes and says ‘Tell me, what’s the problem?’ and then listens with his arm around you.
If you have prayed the Rosary in a lonely place or in the front pew of an empty church, or in the chapel with large number of people ..., conversing with God who is always there when we need him... you always know there is nothing ‘mystical’ to find in a talk with God and we will feel the friendly warmth in the prayer. You know….Always…..

How to Meditate Using the Bible?
Matthew 10:7-8 And as ye go, preach, saying, the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
A biblical Christian guided meditation technique uses the word of God skillfully to grow faith and to whip carefully the fearful suggestions of the devil. Using the Bible you will be able to use the word of God to fight malice by performing miracles like Jesus did and delegated to us so we could do also.
But keep in mind; it is highly doubtful that you'll be able to perform miracles without first meditating on the word of God in the Bible. If you meditate on the word of God, you'll already know what to do when you are tested on your faith and the Word of Knowledge will guide you.
Why we have to meditate on His word?
The answer is
Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.
For example: Let’s say you decide to meditate on
Psalm 119:2 Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.
You meditate sincerely on that verse by focusing and reciting it over and over in your mind and getting that promise deep in your heart by keeping it with you always and referring to it from time to time. There's more. At times when our flesh feels weak and the sinful thoughts tries to entice you into doing an immoral thing. Remember, the last time you gave into temptation, how horrible you felt after you realized what a terrible mistake you've made? That's where your diligence in meditating on the word of God comes in to help you resist that temptation.
Transcendental meditation is a silent process whereby the mind is devoid of all thought and the body relaxes. Psalm 2:1 can be translated: "Why does the heathen rag, and the people meditate on an empty thing?"
There is also a state of meditative relaxation that is induced - by a mantra, the repetition of a word or words. Remember the Scripture (Matthew 6:7) that says, "When you pray, use not vain or empty repetitions, as the heathen do"
Biblical meditation should be done with a rational mind. "My mouth shall speak wisdom, and the meditation of my heart shall bring understanding" (Psalm 49:3). "The mouth of the righteous speaks or meditates wisdom. .." (Psalm 37:30). Biblical meditation is not empty thought; we are encouraged to meditate on God, His teachings, His word and His precepts. In Biblical mediation, objective knowledge enters the rational mind not subjective knowledge that arises from the cosmic subconscious mind while in normal meditation.
Does biblical truth crop up from the inward self? No. God's Word is truth. This refers to the principles, precepts and commandments of God. Christian doctrine is based upon the on paper revelation of Scripture not the meditations of an irrational and blank mind.
Doesn't it sound easy? Well it is, but the tough part is practicing your mind to do the actual meditating on God's words and promises. Choose a quiet place, at home, in the car, in Church or outside. Find a space that is restive and place yourself in comfortable position. Count to eight and inhale, count to 24 and keep the air inside and count to 16 and exhale. Concentrate on your breathing at first, and then gradually begin to recite the selected passage from the Bible mentally. Meditating on the Bible requires filling the mind with selected scriptures and fill up all the empty spaces of the consciousness. It is through this method that a person may feel oneness with God.
Think that this is what God wants you to do so that He can bless you like He wants to. Meditate by reflecting deeply and thinking intently on the promises from the Bible every where you go and keep His word with you at all times (Matthew 4:4): "It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God".
Which brings me to the first and greatest commandment of Jesus, "thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment". (Mark 12:30).

Christian Reiki
The word Reiki is a combination of two words - Rei and ki. The word Rei means universal spirit, great Power or simply God. The word ki refers to the life energy (CHI or prana) that flows through all living things. A practitioner will transmit Reiki to the receiver through the hands. The hands are placed on or nearby the body in various positions around the head, face, stomach and feet. Sometimes a practitioner will also lay hands above the body.
There are many similarities between the healing Jesus did and the practice of Reiki. Jesus walked on water, raised people from dead, and fed five thousand people with five loaves of bread and two fishes. However, the most significant of his miracles were the healings he performed. Many of these healings were done by placing his hands on the diseased. This is indicated in the New Testament, Luke 4:40 states:
“When the Sun was setting, the people brought to Jesus all who had various kinds of sickness, and laying his hand on each one, he healed them.”
Reiki symbols have no similarity to Christian cross. Each faith or religion or caste had just simply developed its own symbols. The power of symbols in Reiki is so obvious and we should understand that the Christian cross must be much more than just a sign. The empty cross, the very symbol of New Man, is beautiful symbol of God’s complete and utterly inexpressible love for us. The name of Jesus has so much power in itself. The name of Jesus repeated often through the healing session brings about a crucial presence - of Jesus Himself; this act of opening up is exactly what God expects in us - to be channels of His peace, love and compassion.
In Luke 7:12-15, Jesus raises a dead man by touching his coffin and in Luke 8:49-55 Jesus uses touch to return a dead girl to life. In Matthew 8:14-15, Jesus heals Peter’s mother-in-law of a fever. In Mark 1:40-42, Luke 5:12-13, Jesus uses his hands to heal a leprotic man. Matthew 20:29-34 describes how Jesus healed two blind men by touching their eyes and in Mark 8:22-25 Jesus uses his hands to heal another blind man.
In I Corinthians 12:4-12, Paul says about the gifts of holy spirit like speaking wisdom, knowledge and the power to heal. One of the rare spiritual gifts is healing. Christians who take directions from the scripture can very well practice reiki. In John 14:12, an important source of guidance as well as encouragement has been given for healers, something Christians should develop if they feel spiritually guided to do so:
“I am telling you the truth: whoever believes in me will do what I do, he will do even greater things because I am going to the Father”
Have you been called by The Holy Spirit to practice the gift of healing? If the answer is yes, Reiki right for you. The best way for you to decide if you want to practice Reiki can be answered through a prayer.

How to do Christian Pranic healing?
Christian faith deals with the inner dimension revealing the interconnectedness of all life and therefore has a holistic view similar to Pranic healing.
The main principle of Pranic healing is utilizing the inherent energy prana or energy of life in all beings for self-healing. According to the precepts of Pranic healing, Human body is actually composed of two parts: the visible physical body and the invisible energy body called the bioplasmic body or aura. The visible physical body is that part of the human body that we see and that invisible luminous energy body, which interpenetrates the visible physical body and extends beyond it.
As we read in John 4:24 “God is a Spirit"; consequently Christianity can retain its significance to believers if it provides us with the right information to worship God in spirit.
Now, what do we mean by worshiping God in spirit?
This question is enlightening, because it implies that the humans are more than the sum of his or her physical attributes. Beyond those attributes we meet the human soul, which is the spiritual side of the human personality. That we are two persons in one, the body and the soul is confirmed by Jesus in Matthew 10:28: "Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul..."
It follows so, that we are able to kick off direct communication with God. We do this by asking God to rejuvenate our souls using the purifying power of the gospel which is the Life energy. Pranic healing is also based on the principle of oneness and the comprehensive power of prana. Prana or ki is that life energy which keeps the body alive and healthy.
Pranic healing is based on two laws: The law of self-recovery and the law of prana or life energy.
1. Law of Self-Recovery:
Normally, the body is capable of healing itself at a certain rate. If a person has a wound or burn, the body will heal itself and recover within a few days to a week. In other words, even if you do not apply antibiotic on the wound or burn, the body will repair or heal itself.
2. Law of Life Energy:
The body must have prana, chi or life energy for life to exist. The healing process can be accelerated by increasing Prana on the affected part(s) and on the entire body. The universal cosmic energy can be attracted to enhance the individual's own internal life energy and thereby creating a positive influence in the immediate environment.
What we call Christian Pranic healing is nothing more than increasing the rate of self-recovery of the body in the name of God. There is nothing supernatural or paranormal about Christian Pranic healing. It is simply based on Biblical laws that most people are aware of. In order to facilitate the healing process, a peaceful environment is a necessity which can be promoted through peaceful demonstrations, and by refraining from using negative words
Paul has advised us to take control of our thought life through Christian meditation.
Phi 4:6-8 - Be careful (anxious) for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Peter speaks of faith being the means of our salvation, not deeds. We can consider this a scripture about meditation and self- healing, as it is his advice on protecting the mind:
1Pe 1:13: Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
And Apostle Paul recommended that we be transformed by the renewing of our minds.
Romans 12:2. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.
Any healthy person with an average intelligence, an average ability to concentrate, an open but discriminating mind, and a certain degree of persistence can learn Christian Pranic healing in a relatively short period. Practitioners can attract cosmic energy by chanting 'amen' or 'amin' with the same strong intention of peace.
For the Christian, Pranic healing and meditation is to be solely on the Word of God and what it reveals about Him. (Psalm 1:2)David found this to be so, and he describes the man who is “blessed” as one whose “delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night”
God’s glory is all around. Use it to help take your mind off of yourself for a few minutes every day. Step outside as often as you can and look around the flower garden. Think only about the beauty God gave us. Learn how to meditate during the day, and before you fall asleep. You will wake up more refreshed.
True Christian Pranic healing is an active thought process (thinking), whereby we give ourselves to the study of the Word, praying over it and asking God to give us understanding by the Spirit, who has promised to lead us “into all truth” (John 16:13) Carry an index card with your favorite scriptures written on it. Take it out and read it over and over. Pray and Meditate on that scripture, word for word asking God for the meaning. Feel His words fill the aura around your body - the 'chakras' (energy centers) and scan the aura. Determine on which parts of the chakras or body is affected and divert all the healing power of His words into it. Just by recognizing the existence of our Lord’s energy, we learn the possibilities of the healing process and bring in harmony and productivity to every aspect of our lives and for others.
There's nothing more relaxing than knowing that Lord Jesus Christ is talking directly to you. You are in His hands.
Bible Diet
GENESIS 1:29 "Behold I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon
The face of all the earth, and every tree, in which is the fruit of a tree
Yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat."
According to Genesis 1:29, this is the actual diet given to man.
The following explanation of Genesis 1:29 is given according to foods as we know them today:
EVERY HERB BEARING SEED... (a seed plant which does not develop woody persistent tissue)
GRAINS - wheat, corn, barley, rice. FRUITS - citrus fruits, sweet fruits
SEEDS - sunflower, sesame, pumpkin seeds
LEGUMES - soybeans, lentils, peas, peanuts
JUICY FOODS CONTAINING SEED - squash, green beans, pumpkins,
Cucumbers, tomatoes, melons, etc.
After Adam sinned and was driven out of the Garden of Eden, and no longer had access to the wonderful tree of life. He had to gain his livelihood by tilling the earth, and the "herb of the field" (originally food for the animals) was added to his diet. (GENESIS 3:17-19).Those are
HERBS (vegetables):
Leaf: beet greens, cabbage, collard, etc
Flower: broccoli, cauliflower.
Root: carrots, beets, potatoes, turnips, etc.
After that God gave man permission to eat animal flesh. Yet God gave instruction that the blood must be drained from the carcass before eating it (GENESIS 9:3) followed by LEVITICUS 11:1-30.
GENESIS 9:3 “. . . but you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood.”
LEVITICUS 7:23-24 "And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 'Speak to the children of Israel, saying: You shall not eat any fat, of ox or sheep or goat.
The face of all the earth, and every tree, in which is the fruit of a tree
Yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat."

CHRISTIAN HEALTH
God's authority governs and rules this world, and God is free to govern the way he wishes. This provides the foundation for the experimental nature of modern medicine. We may not presuppose how the world is or how God has chosen to govern it. Being healthy in a Christian way needs to investigate the world to distinguish patterns and regularities that exist as a result of God's governance. It may be the case that there are certain limitations that we simply accept as givens. Examples of limits may be life or non-life, human or non-human. Only human beings were created in the image of God and that is the reference given in bible.
God is always dynamically involved in our health. He acts in mysterious ways. Due to our sins, we no longer see God at work in the ordinary events of life. We separate ourselves and get diseased. Blood of LORD Jesus Christ can cleanse or sins and diseases and can give the Christian health we are longing for. “...the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.” (1 John 1:7) and even then we don’t understand. We ought to give out the extra sensory or supernaturals because it gives the impression that normally things occur according to their "natures" apart from the Divine governance. The distinction ought to be between ordinary/extraordinary or regular/irregular. Ordinary events are no fewer acts of God than miracles. In the miracle God does not act contrary to natural laws but contrary to his normal manner of governance. We are repeatedly ignoring his words and the result for example if we are diseased HE has to come out of his normal method of governance to save us. This is the Christian way to become healthy.
Satan also has the power to effect signs and wonders and healing miracles, and that they use that power to lead men astray from the true way of salvation (Exodus 7:10-11, 20-22; Exodus 8:6-7; 2 Thessalonians 2:9-10; Revelation 13:12-14). Deuteronomy 13:1-4 makes it clear that our faith should not be based on any sign, wonder, or miracle but on God's word. The Bible exhorts us to scrutinize everything (1 Thessalonians 5:21).healing particularly Christian healing is natural and that happens due to faith, an uncompromising faith in HIS words and that is the only way for Christian health and salvation
At Mt. Sinai, God gave Moses the Ten Commandments and many divine instructions about personal behavior, methods of worship and lifestyle choices. God ordered the Israelites not to eat certain types of animal flesh. The Israelites repeatedly disobeyed God's instructions. Therefore, if a person ate "unclean" food in Old Testament times, they were choosing to disobey God's instructions. The Old Testament dietary regulations are still found in Leviticus 11 and Deuteronomy 14 in Bible. Jesus Christ and his disciples followed the dietary laws. Jesus' support for God's Old Testament laws in Matthew 5:17-18 is very explicit evidence in the New Testament.

Christian Science
The source of Christian Science healing is the view that human beings are the image of wholly good and perfect God, and therefore is perfect. God doesn’t accept imperfections or irregularities
Christian Science practitioners believe that sickness is the result of either guiltiness,
Fear, sin or transgression, and that when this is corrected, and when we feel we have constant interactions with Him, the sickness will disappear.
Prov16:3
ASK THE LORD TO BLESS YOUR PLANS, AND YOU WILL BE SUCCESSFULL IN CARRYING THEM OUT
The way to eradicate the false beliefs is to
Substitute them with true understanding of God’s kindness and his compassion. Suffering can occur only when one believes in the supposed reality of a problem; and human beings inclination towards instant pleasure
By reorientation of thoughts or prayer by Christian Science terms, the belief is revealed as false, and the Acknowledgement that the sickness has no power over God, we can attain spiritual reality and the sickness can be overcame
